A LITTLE ABOUT ME
My yoga journey began with the loss of a loved one. My personal transformation through yoga movement and mindfulness led me to teacher training.
Being a lover of the outdoors, I was drawn to the quiet, gentle and contemplative practices of Hatha and Yin. Teaching pre-natal yoga is a privilege for me to share in the mothers journey.
I look forward to learning and growing together as a community.
Styles of yoga
HATHA : All levels, Beginner Friendly.
A slower practice of static postures incorporating a balance of alignment, core stability and mindful breathing techniques. Moving with purpose, build strength, flexibility and relaxation.
YIN : All levels, Beginner Friendly
A slow-paced practice with long deep holds to enhance mobility and flexibility by targeting the deep connective tissue. Expect a meditative practice allowing for time and space to turn inwards.
PRENATAL : All levels, Beginner Friendly
The benefits of pre-natal yoga : improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, increase strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth, decrease lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath.
CHAIR YOGA : All levels, Beginner Friendly
Particularly Suitable for those with mobility issues, or recovering from injury. Some standing balancing poses, mostly seated poses.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN MY CLASSES
An alignment driven practice using props to adapt each pose to your unique body and having a few laughs along the way.
